Outside Sales Manager Job Description

 


Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Head of Sales to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business development efforts, engaging with potential clients, and managing your designated territory. 


Your primary focus will be on generating leads, upselling products and services, and establishing long-term relationships with customers in the B2B sector that result in business sales. If you have a passion for sales and a knack for building connections, we want to hear from you!


Duties

  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits of our offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth within your assigned territory.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through lead generation efforts and networking.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address any client concerns or needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using our software tools.
  • Regularly analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for upselling and new product introductions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B direct sales or outside sales roles.
  • Strong background in business development with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.
  • Proficient in territory management and lead generation techniques.
  • Familiarity with retail sales principles is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively while prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • A self-starter attitude with a strong desire to succeed in a competitive environment.

Job Type: Full-time


Base Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
